Learn & Love
Colombia is a country brimming with beauty, diversity, and faith, and we are honoured to join the mission team headed to Barranquilla. From Oct 13 – 23, our team of 8 women will participate in a women's retreat, and we will see the incredible work of Fundación Doulos in action. Our goal is to share the joy and hope of the gospel while engaging with the people of this community in meaningful ways. We are humbly asking the Lord for the opportunity to learn and even more so, to be able to love.

Our Partners & Hosts
We are thrilled to be invited and received by our friends serving with Fundación Doulos in Barranquilla to support their ongoing mission.
Our main partners for the trip are our friends the Bravo-Camargo Family (Hernan, Rosa, Becca, Daniel, Helen and more). They are part of many organizations including TearFund and the local church where Hernan pastors, but most of the projects we will visit are connected with Fundación Doulos.
Their ReUnited Venezuelan Migrant Recovery program integrates at-risk migrant families, adolescents, and children displaced from Venezuela into the social, education and work life of host communities in Columbia. They partner with and train up local churches to commit to their communities and overcome xenophobic sentiments. Young people are discipled in the Lord and built up to overcome risks of violence. Integration programs include church leader training, sports & arts activities, community festivals, educational support, and skills training.
Their Church & Community Transformation program supports churches across Colombia to spread the gospel in holistic ways among different ethnic groups, refugee-influx, isolated communities, and disaster-prone areas. They facilitate churches working with each other and the community in an incubator-like way, by training pastors and church leaders in the biblical foundations of integral mission and sharing tools that allow them to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable. Current areas of equipping include business for transformation, sports and arts, disaster prevention, and food security.
