Juvy's Reflections

I thank God for giving me an opportunity to be part of a Colombia mission trip. It was so encouraging, and I feel blessed to have heard God's miracles and faithfulness to His children who trust in Him.

I enjoyed playing, sharing, and eating together with the Venezuelan refugees in Barranquilla and likewise, children in La Guajira and Cartagena whom I will treasure in my heart from now on. I saw with my eyes how love can transform the lives of children into the right path to relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ.

I thank God for Fiona, Jennifer, Yesie, Amapola, Dani, Ana, and Mafe and that God opened the door for us to have friendship as sisters in Christ. We had the chance to hear each member's life experiences and how God brought us together into serving our Lord Jesus Christ because of His love towards us and all mankind.

I found courage in my heart to trust God in the middle of chaos when we were stuck in the wilderness. I also thank God for my sisters in Christ for taking care of me when I was sick.

I am very thankful for the leaders in Colombia - Hernan, Rosa, Daniel, Helen, and others - for their deep love to our Lord Jesus Christ as they continue serving faithfully to enable others to know our Lord Jesus Christ. They are a living testimony of surrendered lives to our God.

I am praying that I can go back there, God-willing.
